President Trump while in Iraq Thursday challenged Democrats to compromise on the Mexico border wall and end the government shutdown. We all know how this ends. By the time the Senate Republicans finish compromising on the border wall it'll be a three-thousand-mile-long privacy hedge.

 

Barack Obama was honored with L.A.'s 134 Freeway being named for him Friday. It's always jam-packed. Yet five minutes after the name change, the freeway was promising commuters that if you like to get to work on time with no traffic, you can get to work on time with no traffic, guaranteed.

 

The Los Angeles City Council voted to name the 134 Freeway after President Obama. This is a huge freeway that connects the Ventura Freeway in Burbank a dozen miles to the Foothill Freeway in Pasadena. The Obama Freeway is now the only freeway in the world with twelve left lanes.

 

President Trump took an unannounced trip to Iraq to visit U.S. troops stationed there. He left behind the government shutdown, the Special Counsel, and an arriving Democratic Congress out for his scalp. President Trump will go down as the first president to visit a war zone for some peace and quiet.
