Barbra Streisand said Trump makes her so angry she has to eat pancakes with syrup to medicate the pain. Well, we don't always get our little way, do we? Three times this month, Barbra called the police on her neighbors in Bel-Air for watching Fox News with the windows open. 

 

President Trump held an impromptu press briefing on the White House lawn before taking off for Mississippi. While talking with reporters near the White House helicopter, he gave himself a new nickname, President T. It prompted CNN to file a lawsuit on behalf of President Taft. 

 

Elizabeth Warren demanded to know what right the U.S. military has to man the border against the Central American caravan. They claim they are refugees looking for a better way of life in North America. If she was really an Indian, you'd think she wouldn't fall for THAT one again.

 

Nancy Pelosi appeared to sew up her reelection as Speaker of the House. The Democrats are all over the map politically. America's first Millennial House member, the Socialist Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez is furious that you don't get to actually live in the House of Representatives.

 

ABC aired A Charlie Brown Thanksgiving but this time it drew protests because the viewers noticed the 1973 cartoon has the only black kid, Franklin, sitting all by himself on one side of the table. Because watching the show is such a perennial American favorite holiday tradition, ABC agreed to make a change. Next year it will be called You're a Good White Nationalist, Charlie Brown.

 

Mexican drug lord El Chapo's trial began this week in New York after he was extradited from Mexico and flown to New York to stand trial. Conviction is by no means a sure thing. If I were El Chapo's defense lawyer, I would make a big deal about the fact that he came to this country legally. 

 

President Trump insisted that Congress pass a budget with twenty-five billion in Mexican wall funding. If the Congress refuses to fund the wall in the budget, Trump is threatening to allow a U.S. government shutdown. That would force millions of federal workers to stop not working.
