'Gosnell' Abortion Doctor Movie Releases Trailer

The filmmakers behind a controversial feature about abortion doctor Kermit Gosnell, now serving a life sentence, have released the first trailer ahead of a theatrical debut. 

Gosnell: The Trial of America's Biggest Serial Killer opens wide Oct. 12 through GVN Releasing and stars Dean Cain as the detective who put Gosnell behind bars.

The film gets its title from a 2014 grand jury report that accuses the doctor of killing hundreds of newborns over the course of several decades in Philadelphia, though he was convicted of just three counts of first-degree murder and one count of involuntary manslaughter.

The movie, directed by Justified actor Nick Searcy and starring Earl Billings as Gosnell, has had a tough road, with producers Phelim McAleer and Anne McElhinney claiming that they were thrown off Kickstarter due to the anti-abortion nature of their film and had difficulty setting business meetings via traditional Hollywood avenues.

"Controversial. What is controversial is no one in Hollywood would ever consider making a movie about this serial killer. What is controversial is a couple of documentary film makers with the financial support of people Hillary called Deplorable's made this movie.

What is Really controversial is those people who really need to see this movie...won't, because it doesn't fit the narrative...that a human being is killed in every abortion"

Barreling through roadblock after roadblock, the movie trailer for "Gosnell: The Trial of America's Biggest Serial Killer" is finally here.

The film, set for release on October 12 through independent film distributor GVN Releasing, details the real-life gruesome crimes and subsequent trial of serial-murdering abortionist Dr. Kermit Gosnell, who's currently serving a life sentence. Gosnell was accused of murdering a young mother and hundreds of newborns in his filthy Philadelphia-based late-term abortion clinic aptly dubbed the "House of Horrors" by prosecution. In 2014, Gosnell was convicted on three counts of first-degree murder and one count of involuntary manslaughter.

The film, as revealed in the trailer, not only highlights the horrors of Gosnell's crimes, but government corruption and a disengaged media. In one teased scene, the prosecution walks into an empty courtroom where seats were reserved for media. Pro-lifers have pointed out that the trial was shamefully ignored by most media due to their pro-abortion bias.
