Hillary tonight at forum... probably nothing....

Her camp is saying this was just light reflection, that there was nothing there:rolleyes: Ya right

Her performance was pretty dismal (not that Trump's was much better), so I don't believe it worked if real.

Blew it up as much as I could on my photo program and it still looks like an earpiece - so if that's the case, if her performance was that dismal with her AND her staff, that's pretty scary if she is in the Oval Officeblink.png

Could it be something to help her keep her balance? You'd think if it was a listening device they would have styled her hair over her ears so it wouldn't show.

Trumps rally tonight....

Posted Image

Hillary's rally last night at a conference (with 20,000 in nearby hotels attending) as keynote speaker....

Posted Image

Note that they closed the walls minutes before her speech.

This is minutes (not hours) before she started speaking. In fairness there are about 500 or so on each side out of camera view.

The facility holds over 10K and was filled the night before including the back section.

Conference did not end until today, so not like everyone went home.

The Week in Pictures: “And They’re Off” Edition

Steven Hayward

September 10, 2016

Labor Day marks the traditional, official launch of the fall presidential campaign, though this bit of presidential campaign folklore has been obsolete for at least 50 years. But it’s a useful media trope, so we’ll probably stick with it until we bring back paper ballots to prevent foreign hacking of our elections. Not much really changed, though. Hillary is still coughing, and Trump is still choking (on Putin). And us voters

BREAKING: Katie Couric Sued for $12 Million For Defamation In Anti-Gun Documentary http://bearingarms.com/bob-o/2016/09/13/breaking-katie-couric-sued-12-million-defamation-anti-gun-documentary/

katie_couric_stephanie_soechtig-e1464270

Film producer Katie Couric and her director Stephanie Soechtig edited their anti-gun documentary Under the Gun in order to make a gun rights group in Virginia look as if they couldn’t answer a simple question.

They’re now facing a $12 million defamation lawsuit, according to documents provided to Bearing Arms.

Second Amendment rights advocacy organization the Virginia Citizens Defense League (VCDL), along with two of its members, today filed a $12 million defamation lawsuit against Katie Couric, director Stephanie Soechtig, Atlas Films, and Studio 3 Partners LLC d/b/a Epix for false and defamatory footage featured in the 2016 documentary film Under the Gun. The film portrays a fictional exchange in which members of the VCDL appear silent, stumped, and avoiding eye contact for nearly nine seconds after Katie Couric asks a question about background checks. An unedited audio recording of the interview reveals that—contrary to the portrayal in the film—the VCDL members had immediately begun responding to Couric’s question.

In the filing, the VCDL, Daniel L. Hawes, Esq., and Patricia Webb allege that the filmmakers knowingly and maliciously manufactured the fictional exchange by splicing in footage that the filmmakers took surreptitiously after telling the interviewees to be silent for ten seconds so that recording equipment could be calibrated. The filing also contains side-by-side screenshots of the film’s footage of the VCDL members and anti-gun advocates, alleging that the filmmakers manipulated lighting to cast shadows on the VCDL members and to make them appear sinister and untrustworthy. “We were horrified to see how Couric and her team manipulated us and the video footage to make us look like fools who didn’t stand up for the Second Amendment,” said Mr. Philip Van Cleave, President of the VCDL. “We want to set the record straight and hold them accountable for what they’ve done. You shouldn’t intentionally misrepresent someone’s views just because you disagree with them.”

The lawsuit, filed in federal court (United States District Court for the Eastern District of Virginia– Richmond Division), seeks $12 million in compensatory damages, plus punitive damages. The VCDL, Mr. Hawes, and Ms. Webb are represented by Tom Clare, Libby Locke, and Megan Meier of Clare Locke LLP, a boutique law firm specializing in defamation litigation.
The fraud committed by Couric and Soechtig should be a career ender for both women, who have been unashamed of their behavior.

What is not yet known is if Couric, Soetchtig, and one of their producers will face federal gun crimes criminal charges for obvious felonies they committed in Arizona while making the anti-gun film.

…Soechtig has now twice confessed (on video and in writing) to committing federal felony crimes that should lead to criminal charges against at least her and the Colorado producer (believed to be Kanau), along with any other Under the Gun staff/producers who took part in the conspiracy to make these clearly illegal interstate sales.

ATF Phoenix Special Agent in Charge (SAC) Thomas Atteberry and Assistant Special Agent in Charge (ASAC) Mickey D. Leadingham have little recourse other than to start an investigation into the confessed crimes.

Realistically, I don’t expect Katie Couric, Stephanie Soechtig, or the Colorado-based producer who purchased the weapons to spend any significant time behind bars for their crimes.
You can read the defamation case against Couric here (PDF):

U.S. Air Force grounds F-35 fighters over cooling line problems

The U.S. Air Force has grounded 13 Lockheed Martin Corp F-35A Lightning II aircraft after discovering peeling and crumbling insulation in avionics cooling lines inside the fuel tanks, an Air Force spokeswoman said on Friday.

The disclosure was made less than two months after the Air Force announced that an initial squadron of the F-35A stealth fighters were ready for combat, marking a major milestone for the $379 billion program, the Pentagon's largest weapons project.

"The issue was discovered during depot modification of an F-35A and affects a total of 57 aircraft," Air Force spokeswoman Ann Stefanek said in a statement.Scissors-32x32.png

@Valin Wonder if EPA regulations impacted the application of the insulation. I know it has caused issues for the shuttle and other insulation projects.

It’s hard to get past the repetitiveness of the campaign, but we’re going to power through, just like Hillary. Meanwhile, I think “Dicking Bimbos” would be the greatest bar band name ever. Roger Clinton can be the lead singer! Powell’s Colon could be the opening act.

So this morning we get up to headlines about the Chelsea pressure cooker bomb, the explosion on the 5k race in NJ, the knife welding stabber who used the word "allah" and asked if people were Muslim, more cops being killed, more kids being shot by a cop because the kid had a pistol that looks like a pistol and pulled it on them and we could go on but CNN's main concern is the Birther movement - who gives a rat's a$$ , CNN? (And ,btw, Hillary 's campaign people did start the rumor - no matter how CNN or MSNBC tries to view it through their biased literal liberal thinking)

Speaking of MSNBC we have Obama's speech which speaks for itself:

"President Obama made a strong sell for a candidate to succeed his legacy at the Congressional Black Caucus dinner Saturday night.

The president invoked slavery and the Jim Crow era and preached that if they wanted to give him a good send off then register people to vote because his legacy is at stake.

Although he did not name Hillary Clinton, the president said he would consider it a personal insult from the African-American community if they did not for her.

"My name may not be on the ballot, but our progress is on the ballot," President Obama said Saturday night. "And there is one candidate who will advance those things. And there is another candidate who's defining principal, the central theme of his candidacy is opposition to all that we have done."

"There's no such thing as a vote that doesn't matter," Obama said. "It all matters. And after we have achieved historic turnout in 2008 and 2012, especially in the African-American community, I will consider it a personal insult, an insult to my legacy, if this community lets down it's guard and fails to activate itself in this election. You want to give me a good send off? Go vote!"

MAJOR LIBERAL HYPOCRISY ALERT

CNN is blaring a lead story about Trump Supports Racial Profiling. This obviously to stir up an unwitting "minority" community to vote Hillary.

Trump had highlighted that we need to take a cue for how Israel deals with security issues.

First of all... Radical Islam is not a race. Secondly... both Arabs and Jews are semitic people and there is not racial issue there.

Finally, the Huffington Post ran the following article two years ago praising the approach that Israel takes... JUST LIKE TRUMP.

CNN

Trump defends racial profiling in wake of bombs

Washington (CNN)Donald Trump on Monday reiterated his support for the controversial practice of racial profiling by police amid increasing threats to the homeland.

"Our local police -- they know who a lot of these people are. They are afraid to do anything about it because they don't want to be accused of profiling," Trump said on Fox News on Monday. Trump pointed to how Israel used profiling and "done an unbelievable job."

What Israeli Airport Security Can Teach the World

Much of the airport’s security protocol is achieved through a combination of comprehensive due diligence, common sense, and consistency — which, one would think would be the objective of airport authorities throughout the world.

Scissors-32x32.png

Departing passengers are questioned by highly trained security agents before they reach the check-in counter. These interviews could last as little as one minute or as long as an hour, based on such factors as age, race, religion and destination.

Unlike in many western airports, passengers are not required to remove their shoes while passing through physical screening processes. Furthermore, there are no sophisticated x-ray machines; rather, traditional metal detectors are still in operation.

NCT,

IF NYT, CNN and dozens of others would stop the daily assault on Trump and pandering to Hillary, no telling what the polls would reflect.

(His rallies alone have 1000s packing them out compared to Hillary's pitiful numbers.)

The problem is he has made it waaaay to easy to attack him....Look back at the primary for examples.

OTOH it will be fun to listen/watch the heads exploding starting around 8:04 PM election night.

And by this time next year I will be going to TOS and say things like "We Told You So"..."What Were You Thinking"..."How's This Workin Out For Ya?"

David Brock Money Laundering Scheme Exposed: 14 Pro-Clinton Super PACs & Non-Profits Implicated http://www.zerohedge.com/news/2016-09-20/

Submitted by Andrew Kerr via The Citizens Audit,

This is serious.
◦David Brock operates over a dozen pro-Clinton organizations from his office in Washington DC.
◦Uncovered records expose a constant flow of money between his organizations.
◦Brock’s unregistered Professional Solicitor, the Bonner Group, receives a 12.5% cut every time money is moved.

There’s a reason why David Brock chooses to house an unregistered Professional Solicitor in his office to raise money for his conglomerate of Super PACs and non-profits. Professional Solicitors are required to disclose their active solicitation contracts. Brock wants his unregistered solicitor, the Bonner Group, to keep their client list hidden for a very specific reason.

David Brock is laundering money

David Brock has 7 non-profits, 3 Super PACs, one 527-committee, one LLC, one joint fundraising committee, and one unregistered solicitor crammed into his office in Washington DC.

Uncovered records expose a constant flow of money between these organizations.

The Bonner Group, his professional solicitor, works off a commission. Every time money gets passed around, Bonner receives a 12.5% cut.

Follow the money

Nonprofits are required to disclose who they give cash grants to.

But they aren’t required to disclose who gave them cash grants.

This weak system of one way verification is being abused by Brock. He’s been cycling money between his organizations for years, and the Bonner Group’s 12.5% commission gets triggered after every pass.

In 2014, Media Matters for America raised $10,021,188.

The Bonner Group was credited for raising these funds. Media Matters paid them a $1,147,882 commission.

Media-Matters-Bonner-Commission.png?189d

That same year, Media Matters gave a $930,000 cash grant to David Brock’s Franklin Education Forum, an organization that shares office space with Media Matters.

Media-Matters-Grant-to-Franklin-Educatio

In 2014, the Franklin Education Forum reported $994,000 in total contributions. 93.6% of that total came from Media Matters! Surprisingly, though, the Franklin Education Forum gave full credit to Bonner for raising that money. They paid the fundraiser a $124,250 commission in 2014!

Notice what happened?

1.David Brock’s Media Matters gave a $930,000 cash grant to David Brock’s Franklin Education Forum
2.David Brock’s Franklin Education Forum credited the Bonner Group for raising those funds, triggering the 12.5% commission ◦David Brock paid the Bonner Group a $124,250 commission to solicit a cash grant … from himself!

It doesn’t stop there

After the Franklin Education Forum retained $869,750, they sent a $816,224 cash grant to David Brock’s The Franklin Forum:

Franklin-Education-Forum-Grant-to-Frankl

Note: The ‘Franklin Education Forum’ is a 501©3, and ‘The Franklin Forum’ is a 501©4. They are not the same company.

Since The Franklin Forum 501©4 paid Bonner a commission in 2013, it’s safe to assume fundraiser received a $102,028 commission in 2014. Unfortunately, it’s hard to tell for sure. They still haven’t filed their taxes for 2014!

Let’s recap

Say, for example, you donate $1,062,857 to Media Matters for America. This is how David Brock would have used your charitable donation in 2014:
1. Media Matters would receive your $1,062,857 donation ◦The Bonner Group would earn a $132,857 commission
◦Media Matters would retain $930,000

2.Next, Media Matters would give what’s left of your entire donation, $930,000, to the Franklin Education Forum ◦The Bonner Group would ‘earn’ a $116,250 commission
◦The Franklin Education Forum would retain $813,750

3.The Franklin Education Forum would then forward the remaining $813,750 to The Franklin Forum ◦The Bonner Group would ‘earn’ a $101,718 commission
◦The Franklin Forum would retain $712,031

In the end, Brock’s solicitor would have pocketed $350,825, almost a third of your initial donation! That’s a far cry from the advertised 12.5% commission.

As bizarre as that scenario may sound, this is exactly what David Brock did in 2014.

How can we be sure this is intentional?

David Brock is the Chairman for each of these organizations! How could he not know what’s going on?

He’s a hands-on Chairman. According to their tax returns, Brock allocates time, weekly, to his organizations:
◦Media Matters: 31.50 hours per week
◦Franklin Education Forum: 3 hours per week
◦The Franklin Forum: 1 hour per week

Furthermore, the New York Times reports that David Brock shares a summer rental in the Hamptons with Mary Pat Bonner, the President of the Bonner Group!

David Brock will have a hard time claiming ignorance on this. These transfers are intentional. He vacations with his solicitor. Case closed.

Still not convinced?

David Brock didn’t even bother to give his organizations different phone numbers. They all share the same phone number!

Same-Phone-Number.png?189db0

Scissors-32x32.png

Summary

If it looks like a duck, swims like a duck, and quacks like a duck, then it probably is a duck.

We’ve spent months trying to find some sort of loophole to justify this activity. But there aren’t any loopholes. David Brock has something to hide. Just last week, The Daily Caller reported the following:

“Brock’s former long-time live-in boyfriend William Grey (whom Brock has thanked in several of his books) threatened to go to the IRS with damaging information about how Brock was running his Media Matters empire. What did Brock do? He paid Grey $850,000 to keep quiet. Brock reportedly had to sell his home in Rehoboth, Delaware to come up with the money. This certainly seems to indicate that Brock was terrified about what the authorities would uncover.”

Adding to this, Fox News reported the following:

“Grey accused Brock of “financial malfeasance” and threatened to undermine Brock’s fundraising efforts.

“Next step is I contact all your donors and the IRS,” Grey wrote in an email dated May 19, 2010. “This is going to stink for you if you do not resolve this now.””
