SrWoodchuck
LA has 2 Republican candidates running against Landrieu... Read somewhere that if it comes down to a 3-way....it won't be decided in Louisiana until 2015, but Landrieu would probably lose....

Valin
Judge denies Crist campaign request for extended voting Ashley Killough CNN (CNN) -- A judge denied a motion to extend voting hours in one Florida county after problems were reported at polling locations, adding last-minute drama to one of the most hotly contested and closest governors races of the year. The campaign for Democratic challenger Charlie Crist filed the emergency motion with the Circuit Court for the 17th Judicial Circuit to move the voting cutoff time from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. in Broward County. The motion cited major delays at one polling location earlier Tuesday morning, as well as problems with the state's Electronic Voter Identification Units. But a spokesperson for the Florida Secretary of State said a judge denied the motion, and Crist's campaign said they will not appeal.
