The Week in Pictures: Trigger Warning Edition

Steven Hayward

May 24, 2014

Warning! This compilation of photos, cartoons, internet memes, pop culture goofs, and chicks with guns may trigger feelings of contempt toward President Obama, liberals, politically correct college students (otherwise called the unemployed), as well triggering as lust for . . . guns. Heyarent guns the proper place for trigger warnings? I thought so.

We watch NHK about every day. Some of their news reports and documentaries are outstanding compared to U. S. News - like the one they did on North Korea .

Anyway did we hear correctly that the Pope has called for Israel and Palestine to be clearly divided into 2 separate States with clearly defined borders?

My question, too.

NHK was founded in 1926, based on the BBC radio company in the United Kingdom. They began operating TV broadcasting in 1953. The first color broadcast was in 1960.

Everyone in Japan who owns a TV is asked to pay anywhere from 11,180 to 25,520 円 per year to support NHK.

In 2012 it decided to ban K-pop on New Year's Eve.
