Maybe we should be questioning O's caddie. No one in the admin knows anything and O spends more time with the caddie than anyone else.

Did not Holder have to sign off on the ap records etc?

Apparently not as he said he did not make the call on the subpoena.

I don't know if this has been posted somewhere . . . but of interest in this current conversation (at least to me):

CBS, ABC Presidents Have Siblings Working for Obama

Yes it has. The thing is politically/socially speaking Washington is a pretty small town. That said this looks bad. I do wonder if when they were being hired, did anyone point out this would come back and bite them?

Rich Manhattan moms hire handicapped tour guides so kids can cut lines at Disney World

TARA PALMERI

May 14, 2013

They are 1 percenters who are 100 percent despicable.

Some wealthy Manhattan moms have figured out a way to cut the long lines at Disney World — by hiring disabled people to pose as family members so they and their kids can jump to the front, The Post has learned.

The “black-market Disney guides” run $130 an hour, or $1,040 for an eight-hour day.

“My daughter waited one minute to get on ‘It’s a Small World’ — the other kids had to wait 2 1/2 hours,” crowed one mom, who hired a disabled guide through Dream Tours Florida.

“You can’t go to Disney without a tour concierge,’’ she sniffed. “This is how the 1 percent does Disney.”

Great message these "mothers" are sending to their kids.

It seems to be an obvious conflict of interest, IMO. Since they are not in a political or government position, it is not illegal--just immoral. (Again, my opinion.)

The average US citizen does not even know the vice-president's name, only watch entertainment news, so trying to have them understand the bias of the news media is a lost cause.

I wonder if I, as a teen and young adult, was influenced by a biased Cronkite or Huntley/Brinkley report. I have no recollection of anyone discussing media bias at that time. We really didn't have entertainment reporting then, in my remembrance, so I watched the network evening news faithfully. My father's family was very vocal about politics. Being a divided (Dem/Pub) family, there were many lively 'discussions'. I think this is where I got my most objective insights into politics--hearing both sides of the argument. And then my parents would discuss the two-sided arguments on the way home or at home. They most certainly influenced me to the conservative side of the aisle.

I'm sure there were, but remember up until very recently there was no sure thing as an alternative media so we didn't know. It was the XXth century model, and it worked...until it didn't. Hinge Of History stuff. The news media is (IMO) going back to the way it was in the 19th century, where newspapers made no bones about their partisanship.

We are supposed to be at the top of the food chain....

Birds eat bugs. Cats eat birds. Dogs eat cats. Humans eat cows. Wait... some steps in the chain are missing...

Dog is not bad. and it doesn't taste like chicken.

reporter asks what "does the former constitutional professor in the white house" think about AP thing.

I LOVED that one! Say what you will about Jay Carney, and I am certainly no fan, but he is good at what he does.

Why weren't they doing this in 2008 and 2012?

Because back in 2008 and 2012 the DOJ wasn't investigating reporters. Who knew something like that could happen to them -- from this administration?!
