That change has either not happened, or has caused more harm than good. I work 5 part-time jobs and give plasma twice a week simply to help put food on the table. pollyannaish Posted November 7, 2012 Share Posted November 7, 2012 Mr. P and I are feeling pretty hopeless. We have lost almost everything we've managed to build in 20 years over the last four years. We go into the hole nearly every month, and absolutely struggle to keep food on the table. Today we searched the sofa pillows for gas money. We do our best to simply keep our heads down, work hard and remain cheerful despite adversity. We try to find ways to be resourceful. We do everything we can to not take more than we give, although right now we are not doing great at that. Tonight we needed a glimmer of hope. A moment to believe we could once again start to build...not feel constant stress and despair. We wanted a moment to believe that hope wasn't getting handouts, but in working together to get our country on track. I feel kicked in the gut. I find it very strange that in an election this close Romney lost every single sing state. I understand losing the election.
