Draggingtree
The right wine for a burger by Michael austin August 21, 2012 10:06AM Updated: August 27, 2012 9:35AM Zinfandel is burger wine. When you fire up the grill, pour the Zinfandel. It often is fruity and jammy, which is a good contrast to the intense flavors that meats take on when they are cooked over an open flame. The meat gest a little charred, a little smoky. Zinfandel also can be peppery, which is a nice complement to most meats, especially beef. It is not a fancy pants wine Zinfandels to try http://www.suntimes.com/lifestyles/food/index.html

saveliberty
I don't drink wine anymore. So if I have a burger, does that mean that I can offer my glass of wine to someone here?
