"There are a lot of people who won't put a political bumper stick on their car."

@Valin, see intimidation works.

I hope that November will be like Chick-Fil-A. Millions turn out to vote the rascals out.

One of the many many many things I've never understood, trashing a car because of bumper stickers. I mean what's the point? Odds are you're not gonna change their vote, in fact the reverse is probably true. The downside is if the person sees you, and is a large person...things may not go well for you.

@Valin -- I'm never too impressed as to who various stars endorse, it doesn't change my opinion on any politician.

Don't get me wrong this is a good thing....but it's not like this is going to cost him work. This is Clint Eastwood...A. at the end of his career B. on the A+++ list in Hollywood. I would hope this A. causes more entertainment people to come out of the closet...B. cause hollywood to make more movies that actually lift up America, and what we stand for.

Obama and the Ghost of Faulkner

By M. Catharine Evans

The ghost of William Faulkner has appeared in the oddest of places ever since Barack Obama entered the public consciousness. The president's speech writers and others have purposely summoned Faulkner to aid them in developing Obama as a transcendent racial figure.

The 2008 election was all about race, so who better to invoke the nation's legacy of slavery than a guilt-ridden white southern Nobel-prize winning author. The president's handlers, who still surround him, hammered away at the racism meme knocking Hillary Clinton out of the competition.

They plunged the accusation of 'racist' into the heart of white America; and catapulted a "creepy" narcissistic collectivist intoScissors-32x32.png

Yes Who Can?

By Keith Riler

The upcoming presidential election is a choice between "Yes you can" and "Yes we can."

Mitt Romney recently embraced his inner "Yes you can":

Today, government at all levels consumes 37 percent of the total economy. ... And through the increasing controls government has imposed on industries like energy, financial services and automobiles, it will soon effectively control the majority of our economic activity.

America is on the cusp of having a government-run economy. President Obama is transforming America into something very different than the land of the free and the land of opportunity. ... We know where Scissors-32x32.png

Is Harry Reid a serial pederast?

August 4, 2012 | Filed under Harry Reid | Posted by Baron Von Ottomatic

This is shocking news if it’s true, but multiple credible sources may have uncovered evidence Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid (Democrat, Nevada) is a serial pederast whose history of abusing young boys stretches back decades and has affected innocent children in both Nevada and Washington D.C.

As we witnessed with Penn State University and Jerry Sandusky, these kinds of deviant, Scissors-32x32.png read more

"The Governor Listeth" ...Correctly

Dave Carter ·

Aug 4 2012

In his book, The Governor Listeth, Bill Buckley described John Kenneth Galbraith as someone, "…who always looks like he is on leave from Mt. Olympus." WFB may as well have been describing the haughty condescension which characterized media coverage of Governor Romney's recent remarks abroad which, considering the people they angered, can be judged a success. After all, any comment that manages to twist both Arab turbans and liberal boxers in knots is progress in the truest sense.

(Snip)

The allergic rash of disapproval to Mr. Romney's observation that a democratic culture inclined to free markets will yield superior results over a culture that straps bombs to its children wasn't confined to the fanatic weird beards of the immediate region. The American left had to get in on the act too. According to NewsBusters, a full 85 percent of the American media's coverage of Governor Romney's trip was negative. The same Brian Williams who four years ago remarked on Barack Obama's excursion overseas by saying, "...The man from Chicago, Illinois, the first ever African-American running as presumptive nominee of the Democratic Party, brought throngs of people into the center of Berlin, streaming into this city, surging to get close to him, to hear his message," now sums up Governor Romney's trip as one plagued , "with controversy, some hurt feelings, and some raw tempers."

(Snip)

"As for Israel, our biggest challenge is peace," writes Leslie Marshall in US News, to which the conservative says, "not quite." In fact, peace is not a challenge at all, and can be easily attained by means of simple surrender. Freedom, on the other hand, is challenging indeed for it is constantly under assault. Governor Romney has performed an important service to the culture of freedom generally, for which he has been dually chastised and mocked by those whose disapproval he should continually covet. Don't stop now, Governor. Sometimes, a person is also known by the enemies he keeps.

Charlie Daniels unloads 'dag-blamed truth' on Obama

Sunday, August 5th, 2012

by Drew Zahn

“There’s a move afoot to change life in America into a totally European – I’ve heard that so much I’m getting sick of it: ‘European’ – socialist thing,” says country-music legend Charlie Daniels, “but it’s the dag-blamed truth [sic], and it don’t work, it never has worked, and if America goes that way, America will never be America again.”

Daniels told WND in an exclusive interview that he expects 2012, with the nation’s very identity on the line, will be “the biggest election we have ever had.”

“In my 75 years on Earth, it’s never been as clear-cut as it is now,” Daniels said. “We’re either going to go into socialism, where part of the people work and the rest of them don’t, and the ones that do will be taxed to death, or – I got the point where I don’t trust politicians anymore, but hopefully – the other side represents, ‘Let’s put America back to work; let’s re-instill the work ethic back in people.’”

Since the 1950s Daniels has been a country singer and famed fiddler, perhaps best known for his hit song “The Devil Went Down to Georgia.” He was inducted into the Grand Ole Opry in 2008.

But he also writes frequently on culture and politics, no stranger to bold statements in defense of God and country, and maintains a “soapbox” blog on his website, CharlieDaniels.com.

For Daniels, the word “socialism” Scissors-32x32.png Read More

Tough new Bain ad from Obama 'super PAC': Does it go too far? LINK

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Nj70XqOxptU&feature=player_embedded

This is a terrible ad. The woman died many years after he was let go. He evidently chose not to get coverage in the many years that followed. Even so to blame a company for killing someone because you got let go is over the top.

Used to freak college students out with dihydrogen monoxide in health and safety classes. (It was a lesson on think before you panic.)
