Good News From Wisconsin-

Local Democrats and far left activists are in a panic! With less than three weeks remaining in the Wisconsin recall race, Governor Scott Walker is up by nine points in the latest We Ask America poll from last weekend.

Worse yet for Democrats, MoveOn.org reported in a mass email that the DNC has withdrawn financial support from the race.

Trying hard to see where these polls mean much of anything, on May 15 2012. I pretty much ignore these polls until the end of Sept, when they start to mean something.

What is 'cleaning'? smile.png No, i would not have started cleaning a 1AM.

I have tried sitting very calmly and trying to get my brain to remember. Isn't working.

Sorry, but I am chuckling.

Did you check under your pillow? Bathtub? Oven? On the ground outside of your windows?

The findings of an internal UNC probe released this month found 54 classes within the department in which there was little or no indication of instruction. The review also found at least 10 cases of unauthorized grade changes involving students who did not complete their work.

Phi Beta Cons

The true face of the Black Studies programs has shown itself here in NC at the prestigious University of NC at Chapel Hill. The chairman of the studies program has been forced to resign only after it was found that a tremendous number of classes were never held, grades were changed, fraud was rampant and black athletes who never went to class got great grades. These athletes made up 40% of the enrollment and the disgraced chairman Julius Nyang’oro made $200k per year at this state university. I'm sure that he has other nice perks and a very generous state benefits and retirement plan.

One of the star athletes was found to have been given grades for not attending his Swahili class. What's he going to do with the rest of his life after football without being fluent in Swahili.

No wonder college degrees don't guarantee a job, college athletics are a criminal enterprise, the cost of going to college is skyrocketing, we need government subsidized student loans, political correctness is out of hand, liberal educators support politicians who support liberal educations... and the state of the black community is in a mess.

I can't wait for Jesse or Al to swoop in down here to declare racism as the State Bureau of Investigation delves into the financial fraud issues. Expect an Eric Holder investigation of the Investigators to follow.

Meanwhile departing disgraced DEM Gov. Bev Perdue is wanting to raise the state sales tax to support eduction here.

Swahili ?

That's a key requirement in most jobs in the states isn't it?

Asante sana, @Pepper!

One of our African friends taught me that phrase, although I had to look up the spelling. I thought that this was fun:

Tafadhali niletee chakula moto haraka. Nina njaa sana!

(Please bring me some hot food quickly. I'm very hungry!)

Huu hapa wali, samaki, mbatata, na saladi. Nitakuletea keki baadaye.

(Here is rice, fish, potatoes, and salad. I'll bring you cake later.)

Emperor Obama Planning a Passing of Gas Before 2012 Elections

Wednesday, 16 May 2012

How to buy votes.......

Scissors-32x32.pngBryan Mound (Strategic Petroleum Reserve). As you may know, the largest reserve site in the U.S. is located a few miles from where I work in Freeport. It holds 200+ million barrels of oil. They got a visitor from Washington D.C. authorizing the release of 80-90 million barrels across all 4 sites in the U.S. It will be sold to Exxon Mobil for the purpose of flooding the market to bring down gas prices (temporarily). Just in time for the election. The president can do this without Congress. Scissors-32x32.png

STORY TIME

Last night I went to bed around 1 AM. Watched TV for a few hours and finally fell asleep around 5AM. Woke up about 11AM and watched the news for awhile.

Finally got out of bed and came into my cave, turned on the puter and started the coffee. Fed the cats/kittens.

Sat down at puter and lo and behold, my keyboard is missing. Maybe the cats knocked in on the floor. Searched and searched and no keyboard. Expanded search to other rooms. Even looked in the fridge just in case. (I am getting old after all.) No keyboard.

Looked in my bed, trash, even my deck. No keyboard.

Finally accepted the fact that it was gone. Went to Best Buy and got another kb. Thought as soon as I got another one, the first one would appear. Nope. Still missing.

Doors were locked, I can't imagine someone would come in and just take my kb. As of this writing it is still a mystery as to what happened to it.

Moral of the story, don't get old and forgetful.

To be continued?????

Is it a wireless keyboard? If so, check between/beneath the couch cushions. In my house, anything wireless that's missing ends up there.
