It makes them look weak, pathetic an completely unhip. When I checked the twitter link there was nothing but unabashed mocking. I am stunned by the lack of connection with the culture. I used to think that the hope and change stuff was a brilliant if deeply cynical marketing strategy designed to allow the voter to project their own wishes onto the man. I'm beginning to think they were naive enough to think it actually meant something profound!
