Years of liberal dogma have spawned a generation of amoral, uneducated, welfare dependent, brutalised youngsters

If you live a normal life of absolute futility, which we can assume most of this week’s rioters do, excitement of any kind is welcome. The people who wrecked swathes of property, burned vehicles and terrorised communities have no moral compass to make them susceptible to guilt or shame.

hey are illiterate and innumerate, beyond maybe some dexterity with computer games and BlackBerries.

They are essentially wild beasts. I use that phrase advisedly, because it seems appropriate to young people bereft of the discipline that might make them employable; of the conscience that distinguishes between right and wrong.

They respond only to instinctive animal impulses — to eat and drink, have sex, seize or destroy the accessible property of others.

snip
The depressing truth is that at the bottom of our society is a layer of young people with no skills, education, values or aspirations. They do not have what most of us would call ‘lives’: they simply exist.

Nobody has ever dared suggest to them that they need feel any allegiance to anything, least of all Britain or their community. snip

Not only do they know nothing of Britain’s past, they care nothing for its present.

snip
The notions of doing a nine-to-five job, marrying and sticking with a wife and kids, taking up DIY or learning to read properly, are beyond their imaginations.

snip

Just substitute America for Britain - this is coming here.

And IMO The Best line from the movie

At any rate it will help explain what is going on in England

Drugs...the anathema of our society and the downfall of any yute that gets hooked.

I have personally witnessed a wonderful kid turn into an absolute piece of human debris due to drugs.

If I had my way, drug dealers would be executed.

Drug users would be locked up indefinitely.

BBC Video: London rioters: 'Showing the rich we do what we want'

Two girls who took part in Monday night's riots in Croydon have boasted that they were showing police and "the rich" that "we can do what we want".

The pair who were drinking wine looted from a local shop at 09:30 BST on Tuesday morning, spoke to the BBC's Leana Hosea.

I'll bet the GB authorities are starting to envy the Syrian solution to rioting.

Interesting story....

In 1968 after MLK was killed there were riots all across the country, except one city...John Daley's Chicago. The reason being he let it be known that he was more than willing to drop the hammer on any rioters.

The time to stop these kind of riots is right when they start.

Valin! Enjoyed the Harry Brown vids & the Bonaparte quote.

Notice the slant that the UK Daily uses for their post.....poor put-upon children....who,"....live a normal life of absolute futility, which we can assume most of this week’s rioters do...."

That's a bucket of smelly tripe; from socialist apologizers who are willfully blind to the reality, that their carefully created dysfunctional society & culture of entitlement, could have created these monsters.

Are these the "droogs" from "A Clockwork Orange?"

My perscription: water cannon, rubber bullet, arrest & conviction.....or buckshot, grapeshot if it doesn't take, because either the rioters go down, or civil society does.

This is the meme of the MSM. Of course it goes without saying the EVIL rich are to blame for this...misunderstanding.

Unfortunately for them there are some...inconvenient facts...

Britain, stunned by rioting young, asks 'Why?'

ANTHONY FAIOLA , Washington Post

At the same time, the trail of destruction after three nights of mob rule in sectors of London and other British cities left the nation confronting an over-arching question: Why?

On a street corner in Hackney, site of some of the worst riots on Monday, Sivaharan Kanbiah, a 39-year-old Sri Lankan immigrant, stood shellshocked outside his ransacked convenience store as some residents packed bags and fled in fear. "You work all your life, and in one night, they come and destroy it," he said. "They did not just steal everything. They tore out the ceiling. They broke up the floor. They ripped out the shelves. I don't understand such hate."

He paused, silently gathering himself. He voice cracked as he continued, "I have a wife, two children and a mother to support. Now I have no way to do it. They took my life and I can't replace it. We'll be turned out on the street. I want to know why. Why?"

As I said Harry Brown is a good but depressing movie. You can't go wrong with Michael Caine.

This is not a UK phenomenon. Have you checked out the MSM coverage of American "flash mobs". Groups of black teens who, seemingly, form unplanned groups that attack seemingly affluent whites. They are getting pretty much the same media treatment as these "droogs" are getting in the GB press.

Great system, and I saw the same program on the History Channel, but I cannot find any reference where it has actually been deployed.

The Telegraph: London riots were orchestrated by outsiders

The orchestration of the London riots can be revealed following analysis of court data.

Andrew Gilligan

21 Aug 2011

Almost none of those charged with rioting in Ealing, Clapham Junction, Enfield and other places comes from the immediate area, the data shows.

Home addresses given by defendants paint a chilling picture of rioters converging simultaneously on these districts from all points of the compass and often from great distances.

Some appear to have travelled from as far as Tilbury, Maidstone and Winchester to take part.

(Snip)

But other riots also appear to have a much higher proportion of local suspects. All those charged in respect of the Holloway riot are local.

Thanks for the above link.

"some [rioters] were minibused in".

Never let a good riot go by.

In Coulter's book Demonic, she interviewed some cops after the Rodney King riots. The cops said the rioters had no idea who Rodney was or what had happened to him. Rioting be fun.
