The 2nd guy they were looking for is evidently the cab driver who dropped him off. So it looks like one story being spun about him being "brainwashed" by another person is ended.

The leftists were hoping the other guy was his Tea Party handler.

Trying to see if above link works. An interview with Rebecca Mansour, who works with Sarah Palin, by Tammy Bruce. Facts are a bit dated, but opinions are still valid. It was recorded Saturday around 1PM EST.

You should see FB. I have a lot of liberal friends and half of them are lit up about this. The other half are urging caution. It's very sad.

One of my long-time friends on FB commented on this yesterday with a gratuitous blame Rush-Beck-Sarah-Palin-Tea-Party comment, and I just tore him a new one. This kind of "thinking" is has gone way too far, and is dangerous and destructive (not to mention just flat wrong to demonize one group just to justify your own philosophy). I may lose at least one friend over this, but I'm not going to be quiet just to keep the peace any more.

And, if and when I get called on stuff and have to back up what I say or apologize, I'll do the right thing. Of course, I try to make sure I have my facts straight BEFORE I say something.

My liberal FB friends (with one exception) have been pretty quiet about this.

I wish mine had been. But, it's the fact that they even think this stuff that's really the problem. Good grief. Some of the comments make them look like brainless haters. It's sort of scary.

And, shout Pollyannaish, I been very careful in the past to never discuss politics on FB, but have made an exception for this situation.

Here's one of the first of many knee jerks to come

Representative Bob Brady of Pennsylvania told The Caucus he plans to introduce a bill that would ban symbols like that now-infamous campaign crosshair map.

"You can't threaten the president with a bullseye or a crosshair," Mr. Brady, a Democrat, said, and his measure would make it a crime to do so to a member of Congress or federal employee, as well.

I want to remind the loons on the left that we have endured eight years of their lunatic, hate-filled, venomous screeds, and murder fantasies about Bush, Cheney, Rice, et al. More than I'd care to remember. After eight years of Bush Derangement Syndrome -- and now Palin Derangement Syndrome -- I find it laughable and unbelievably hypocritical that they point fingers at us for this with a straight face. Oh, you're saying I'm full of s^#@? That I'm just another right-wing wacko? Here are some reminders -- and this is NOT an exhaustive list:

"Kill Bush" shirts?

All of the Bush assassination conjectures published and broadcast?

The movies about our troops, where they are portrayed as nothing more than a modern incarnation of the Great Khan's barbarian hordes?

Alec Baldwin saying on a talk show that someone should physically harm Henry Hyde?

The unbelievable hatred towards Governor Palin's Down's Syndrome child, Trig, which, in and of itself, should invalidate any criticism from the left until we hear their resounding and public condemnations about it?

Wishing Clarence Thomas would have a stroke?

Comedy Central putting a bullseye on President Bush?

Code Pink calling for Bush's arrest?

A kid, whose parents scripted him to make a video where he says he wants "to kill the Motherfucking Bush with a big hole in his brain"?

A student who threatened to kill Bush?

Cindy Sheehan's dream of killing Bush as a baby?

All of the online games where you can kill Bush?

Remember those, hmmm?

For more, go to Michelle Malkin's post about this and feast your eyes on what she's posted. (I welcome all commenters to add to the list I made with your own remembrances of the tolerant behavior on the other side of the aisle.)

My understanding was the cross hair was on districts on a map, not faces, but I've not checked that closely.

I hope the House and Senate membership consider the possibility the use of private armed guards or local police at their functions. That there is some sort of established controlled perimeter around the public officials.

WASHINGTON -- Rep. Jim Clyburn on Sunday said Sharron Angle's endorsement of "Second Amendment remedies" in her losing Nevada campaign against Senate Minority Leader Harry Reid contributed to the shooting of Rep. Gabrielle Giffords.

Clyburn, the House assistant Democratic leader, said of Giffords' alleged assailant, Jared Lee Loughner: "It seems like this gentleman was not satisfied with the way the election came out. "There's no way you cannot make that connection (with Angle's rhetoric) unless you want to be stupid."

This looks like a new racket for Blackwater and their services. I would I have to say the days of the constituents giving questions to their public official, face to face are over. I would like all see all questions to be given in advance. At least two armed security guards next to the official on their right and left.
