I'm assuming it was regarding immigration as that seems to be the common thread so far. When I tried to find out some info on this guy, the first thing I saw was DU telling people to hurry up and comb the web for info before FReepers scrubbed all info about him Ladies and gentlemen...the Hatfields and the McCoys. Only not as smart They really have become two side of the same coin. That said there are still some good people over at TOS. Ha! And you are very correct. (and there are probably even some good people at DU.) It is the behavior of the loudest among them that gets noticed from the outside, unfortunately. This isn't unique to our country right here, right now. What bothers me most, is the reaction of otherwise sane people. ALL of us, on both sides, need to make sure that this kind of thing never becomes a moment for partisanship. We MUST learn that disagreement is fine, but hatred is wrong even in those that never act out the hatred. I am appalled at the things I am reading online today. The public face is better, but wow. We've got to be better examples for our children. Edited to add: That comment looks like a response to Elfman. It's not.
