Author Joe McGinniss accused former Alaska GOP Gov. Sarah Palin on Tuesday of using “Nazi” tactics in unleashing the “hounds of hell” upon him in protest of his moving next door.

Palin first announced that McGinniss was renting the home next to her Wasilla residence in a post on her Facebook page, which among other things suggested he could see into the bedroom of the governor’s teenage daughter.

Since then, McGinniss has been a target of conservative scorn online and has even received death threats for moving next door to Palin, a reaction for which the author blames Palin.

“Sarah hysterically puts up this Facebook page with all sorts of ugly innuendo,” McGinniss said Tuesday during an interview on NBC’s “Today" show.

McGinniss said the reaction to his moving next door to the former governor has demonstrated “the power Palin has to incite hatred and her willingness and readiness to do it.”

“She has pushed a button and unleashed the hounds of hell, and now they're out there slavering and barking and growling,” McGinniss said.

“I'm not calling her a Nazi,” he added, “but that's the same kind of tactic that the Nazi troopers used in Germany in the '30s. And I don't think there is any place for it in America.”

McGinniss plans to stay in the house through the summer as he completes his research on the former governor.
________

Hey, Joe-just because she's paranoid doesn't mean you're not out to get her.

I'm surprised Joe's not pooped, from his pederastic adventures.{On his porch, "glassing" her daughters bedroom?}

I'm surprised Joe's not grizzly bear pooped.....

......surely there's some good ole boy "Nazi's in plaid" waiting to help him learn that old Alaskan drinking game, "Let's get drunk & smack a grizzly butt with a switch?"

Joe McGinniss = "Whiny Wanker of the Great White North"

Give him a chance Sarah! Tell him he can set'em a-swingin' before you shoot.

I find nothing at all "hysterical" about her Facebook posting:

"Just When Ya Think It Can’t Get Any More “Interesting”... Welcome, Neighbor!

Monday, May 24, 2010 at 10:17pm

Spring has sprung in Alaska, and with this beautiful season comes the news today that the Palins have a new neighbor! Welcome, Joe McGinniss!

Yes, that Joe McGinniss. Here he is – about 15 feet away on the neighbor’s rented deck overlooking my children’s play area and my kitchen window. Maybe we’ll welcome him with a homemade blueberry pie tomorrow so he’ll know how friendly Alaskans are.

We found out the good news today. Upon my family’s return this morning from endorsement rallies and speeches in the Lower 48 states, I finally got the chance to tackle my garden and lawn this evening! So, putting on the shorts and tank top to catch that too-brief northern summer sun and placing a giddy Trig in his toddler backpack for a lawn-mowing adventure, I looked up in surprise to see a “new neighbor” overlooking my property just a stone’s throw away. Needless to say, our outdoor adventure ended quickly after Todd went to introduce himself to the stranger who was peering in...

Joe announced to Todd that he’s moved in right next door to us. He’s rented the place for the next five months or so. He moved up all the way from Massachusetts to live right next to us – while he writes a book about me. Knowing of his many other scathing pieces of “journalism” (including the bizarre anti-Palin administration oil development pieces that resulted in my Department of Natural Resources announcing that his work is the most twisted energy-related yellow journalism they’d ever encountered), we’re sure to have a doozey to look forward to with this treasure he’s penning. Wonder what kind of material he’ll gather while overlooking Piper’s bedroom, my little garden, and the family’s swimming hole?

Welcome, Joe! It’ll be a great summer – come borrow a cup of sugar if ever you need some sweetener. And you know what they say about “fences make for good neighbors”? Well, we’ll get started on that tall fence tomorrow, and I’ll try to keep Trig’s squeals down to a quiet giggle so we don’t disturb your peaceful summer. Enjoy!

- Sarah Palin"

There is also a picture posted which shows a guy (assume McGinniss) standing on an upper level porch looking toward the person taking the picture (assume Palin resident). To me, McGinniss moving in next door is like a Gestapo member moving in next door--in keeping with his Nazi frame of reference. . .

That is just flat out harassment even if he can't be charged with it. How crummy.

The thing is I liked his "Going To Extremes" It's about the downside of living in Alaska.

Two words:

Media Whore.

He had this all planned out from the git-go. Nice commie apparatchiki. Typical commie tactics.

(Side note: The word 'Progressive' is a code-word for 'Communist' and I would suggest that we drop it from our lexicon and call a spade a spade from now on. 'Progressive' was a movement over a century ago of which TR was also a member. The misappropriation of that historical term - with its generally positive connotation - in order to hide a transparently Marxist agenda behind it is an OUTRAGE.)
