In addition, the stuff they are writing looks like what we see in the check-out line at the market. The gossip rags which say Bush is drinking again. And Bush is having an affair with Condi Rice.
They really do just make this stuff up!
Thanks, MiB24!

All the speculation on whether Governor Palin was pregnant is easily put to rest by the eyewitness account of Elizabeth Eubanks from April 29 of this year. Eubanks was in an airport in Fairbanks waiting for a flight when she unexpectedly saw Governor Palin in the airport also waiting for a flight.
Eubanks reports that she found Palin to be a wonderful person.
Of course I had to check out the “Hottest Governor in the US” and quickly turned to see her pregnant (she has since had her baby) with bags and daughter in tote. Then it struck me as odd. Why is the Governor of Alaska in the airport and preparing to get onto my commercial flight?

Quote Trig Paxson Van Palin (Rich Lowry)
I meant to post this the other day (so please don’t take it as a response to Rick—in fact it might constitute pleading guilty as charged!), but I got sidetracked. I found the Palin event Friday incredibly moving. Partly because of Trig.
The sentimentalist in me would be willing to see anyone who is loving and unselfish enough to welcome a Down kid into their family elevated to high office.
When I was thinking of Trig, I was reminded of an encounter I had a couple of weeks ago on the Delta Shuttle from Washington to New York. It was a mostly empty plane, but I went all the back to the very emptiest part of the plane to spread out and enjoy he quiet. And there was a man sitting in the very back row who immediately piped up, "Hi. I'm Ian. Would you like to sit next to me?"
He was a guy with Down Syndrome, maybe in his twenties. I declined the offer, but we struck up a conversation. He was going to New York for a family celebration, including for his birthday. I told him I had a birthday coming up too and he lit up and came over to vigorously shake my hand in congratulations—more delighted by my birthday than his own.
When the plane began to fill up a woman and her daughter came all the way to the back with a huge bag. I began to wonder to myself if I should offer to help them with it, when Ian popped up, told them he'd get it, and lifted it up and shoved it in the overhead compartment. When two men came down the aisle with a box they weren't sure would fit overhead, he intervened and told them it would—"trust me"—and put it up for them.
He chatted amiably with his neighbors during the flight, and when we landed was up out of his seat first thing to help that woman get her bag down.
From this brief encounter, I dare say Ian is friendlier, better adjusted and more considerate than about half of the people on the streets of Manhattan or San Francisco on any given day. Yet most of those people are perfectly unperturbed by the elimination of babies with Down syndrome in the womb. To hell with them. God bless Sarah Palin for bringing Trig into the world, and may he shower those around him with as much sunshine as the gentleman I met on that flight.

Here is another picture of Gov. Palin.
This makes me think we need a thread for pictures of the lovely Governor.

A science teacher met a pregnant Sarah Palin earlier this year.

The teacher blogged about it back in April.

Can't see it too many times. I've also read in several places that the picture of Palin's daughter that they claim shows her "pregnant" was taken in 2006.
Nothing but class coming from the desperate libs on the internet.

Thank you! I think Governor Palin is an amazing woman, and I'm posting the truth about this silly story on various forums I visit. If the kooks at the Daily Kos can use the internet to spread lies, we can use it just as effectively to spread the truth.

Well, this isn't going away anytime soon.
Some more "reputable" news organizations are trying to push this rumor and others by simply saying "reports from the blogsphere" are "breaking" salacious stories about Palin.
A McCain spokesman has said they won't even dignify such crap with a comment.

Daily Kos should be ashamed for posting what they have about Sarah Palin and her 16-year-old daughter. That supposedly serious writers are taking it seriously is an additional disappointing shame. That teenager is learning about how ugly politics can be fast and furious.

One of the things that I find odd is that the photo's used to dispel this rumor are undated...versus a timeline that can somewhat be followed on the Governor's website...suffice it to say the photo's there and the one's provided here don't match up...
It would be nice if someone could find and provide a dated photo afterall this is a woman with 5 kids...

That's a valid point. The caption for the picture showing her being interviewed by Channel 11 is "CBS 11 doing a live interview as the legislative session comes to an end."

The Alaskan legislative session ended on 13 April 2008. Palin's son was born on 18 April 2008 (four weeks early).
The second picture from the series is posted below:

Here's the link... Palin Pictures The caption for that picture is "Myself, Governor Palin, Press Secretary McAllister. "
Clearly, these are pictures of Governor Palin. Clearly, she is pregnant. She become Governor in December 2006. She does not have a two year old child.
Liberal nut sites like DailyKos have claimed pictures of Palin's oldest daughter indicate she is the person actually pregnant with Trig (the fifth child). Here is one photo...

This was taken outside in Juneau. The oldest daughter is on the right. Trig was due in May. Clearly, if the oldest daughter were actually pregnant, she is not very pregnant. A baby due in May is conceived in September. Notice what the family is wearing and the lack of snow. Given the months the photo could have been taken, (Fall-Winter) there would be snow and plenty of it (Juneau got 16 feet of snow the previous winter and averages over 100 inches a year).
The second picture the liberal nuts reference is below...
Anchorage Daily News
Problem is, the picture was published by the Anchorage Daily News in 2006. If Palin's daughter was pregnant with Trig, she was starting a 24 month gestation.
Bottomline, liberals will stoop to the lowest depths to push lies, but are not smart enough to come up with a lie that can't be debunked with even a small amount of research. Unfortunately, because our media long ago gave up any pretense of being a legitimate journalistic institution, rather than doing their own investigation of obvious lies, they simply repeat the trash with a CYA "...it has been reported from anonymous sources...." and hope that some damage can be done before the new media (sites like this one) does the media's job for it.

Lying is not party specific and media propaganda for a specific party is determined by what channel you tune into...IMO...it's up to the individual to investigate and determine truth as best they can...
In my reading the legislature in Alaska is 60 to 90 day process it's not year around, state law up there...this article indicates that the legislature ended on http://www.juneauemp...315789720.shtml ... does that still mesh with your timeline....
You know I find it odd that I'm even researching this...normally I woul render it stupid and dismiss it but intregity in office is important and with 60 days to go untill the election...I guess everything goes...LOL
And wasn't she at some governor's convention or symposium around that time I recall seeing a video about that, 18 hr flight if I recall these photo's don't match that video...I wish there was something more specific out there...

This is a photo taken shortly before her baby was born. I've seen recent photos of Palin. Unless she gains and loses weight like Oprah Winfree, I think she might be pregnant in this photo. Or possibly extremely backed up.

Looks like she is wearing a sweater that is oversized due to her pregnancy.

Excellent read!
I had a friend in journalism school who had Downs Syndrome, and he was genuinely kind, decent, and wouldn't hesistate to lend a hand or give you the shirt off his back.
There was a time I was kind of worried about him, because he was too kind, and sometimes being too kind can breed unkindness from others.

I completely agree that it is up to the individual to investigate and determine the truth. That is the value of sites like this one where people like you and I can pool our collective knowledge to build the most complete picture. Working together, it becomes fairly easy to tear down old media icons like Dan Rather when they try to push phony stories as real on a public that used to trust the media.
Quote In my reading the legislature in Alaska is 60 to 90 day process it's not year around, state law up there...this article indicates that the legislature ended on http://www.juneauemp...315789720.shtml ... does that still mesh with your timeline....
That article refers to a special legislative session convened by executive proclamation on 9 July 2008 Fourth Special Session. This link is to the official site of the Alaska State Legislature Alaska State Legislature. There, you will note that the 2008 legislative session started on 15 January and ended on 13 April 2008. Unless someone is arguing that Trig Palin was born 3 weeks ago, the article you link is not relevant to the photos showing Governor Palin on the "last day" of the legislative session.
Quote You know I find it odd that I'm even researching this...normally I woul render it stupid and dismiss it but intregity in office is important and with 60 days to go untill the election...I guess everything goes...LOL
I disagree with you there. Everything does NOT go. Especially easily debunkable lies about any candidate seeking a position in the White House. I haven't seen a single piece of evidence to support a wild accusation that the Governor of Alaska faked a pregnancy to cover for her daughter. Nothing. Yet, for some reason, liberal websites are pushing this story like it has some legitimacy.
Quote And wasn't she at some governor's convention or symposium around that time I recall seeing a video about that, 18 hr flight if I recall these photo's don't match that video...I wish there was something more specific out there...
It takes 18 hours to fly from Los Angeles to Sydney, Australia. I don't think that bit of detail will stand up very long either. Palin did fly from Texas to Anchorage to deliver her baby. There are lots of articles and information supporting that. Some have already been referenced in this thread (see post 22).
