resident Trump and Republicans vowed to let bygones be bygones, changing his mind from his campaign trail pledge to investigate Hillary Clinton if elected president.

But all that's changed with Democrats intent on dragging the "nothingburger" Russian collusion story out. And now, Republican lawmakers have had enough.

On Wednesday, Republicans on the House Judiciary Committee voted to request documents about former FBI director James Comey’s conversations with the Obama administration, the Washington Post reported. The move replaced a Democratic resolution "that was designed to obtain documents about Comey’s firing by President Trump."

So now, Democrats and the mainstream media have Russiagate, and Republicans have Comey and Hillary probes.

It's going to be a long year — or four.
