Geee
Washington Examiner If the Republicans' bill to repeal Obamacare ultimately fails, the GOP says it has some other options. While lawmakers say they are still confident about the legislation, Rep. Mark Meadows, R-N.C., said the party has backup plans to turn to if the American Health Care Act fails. Meadows emphasized that he is "all-in" on the latest bill. "We're gonna vote on something that has 218 votes in the House," Meadows told reporters Friday. "It is either this or a backup plan B or C." Meadows, chairman of the conservative House Freedom Caucus, didn't give many details on what the backup plans would be or who proposed them. He said one plan could look at "tax credits to make sure that what we are doing is lowering the net premium."
