In southern Germany, a 17-year-old Afghan refugee pulled out a hatchet and a knife on a train and attacked his fellow passengers, wounding 19, three grievously.

 

 

 

A teenage Afghan refugee shouted ‘Allahu Akbar’ before hacking at passengers during an axe and knife rampage on a train in Germany.

As many as 19 passengers needed hospital treatment while three victims are fighting for their lives after being attacked with ‘cutting and stabbing weapons’. Officials have said it was ‘probably’ an Islamist attack.

The latest jihad attack in Germany reveals how difficult it is becoming for the political and media elites to maintain their fantasy-based narrative in the face of reality. An axe-wielding Muslim refugee from Afghanistan stormed a train, screamed “Allahu akbar” and began attacking passengers. This happened, of course, as a result of policies that Angela Merkel aggressively pursued. And as she did so, she must have known that this kind of thing would start happening. What else could she possibly have expected?

 

Those who called for Europe to take in as many Muslim migrants as possible may have foreseen this: after all, they insisted that the refugees were not a danger, but were in danger. Only racist bigoted Islamophobes would dare express any skepticism about the wisdom of admitting these refugees, we were told. To oppose the Muslim migrant influx into Europe was evidence of a moral defect, we were told.

 

And so, with 21 injured in this jihadi migrant’s axe attack, we will likely soon hear that he was mentally ill, traumatized by the war in his native Afghanistan, or enraged over some slight (or even over “Islamophobia”), and that the one thing we all must understand above everything else is that Islam had nothing, nothing whatsoever, to do with this attack, and that the one thing we must not do in the wake of this attack is question or resist the ongoing Muslim migrant influx. Everyone will say so. They always do.

IS group claims responsibility for train attack in Germany

BERLIN (AP) — The Islamic State group claimed responsibility Tuesday for an ax-and-knife attack on a German train that left at least five people injured, but authorities said it appears the 17-year-old Afghan asylum seeker who was shot and killed by police as he fled the scene appears to have self-radicalized and had no direct link to the extremists.

 

The teenager shouted "Allahu akbar" ("God is great") as he attacked people on the regional train near the Bavarian city of Wuerzburg Monday night, and a hand-painted flag of the Islamic State was found during a search of his room, according to state Interior Minister Joachim Herrmann.

The dpa news agency reported that the attacker injured the 62-year-old father, the 58-year-old mother, their adult daughter and her boyfriend. The teenage son was not injured. The father and the boyfriend had tried to defend the other family members, dpa said.

The assailant jumped off the train after someone pulled the emergency cord and got about 500 meters (yards) into Wuerzburg-Heidingsfeld, attacked a woman there with his ax and ran away before the police special unit chased him. As police drew near, the assailant started attacking the officers and was shot, according to Herrmann.

 

Prosecutor Christopher Rosenbusch in nearby Bamburg, who is in charge of the investigation, said he could give no further details on the injured people, including the woman who was attacked outside the train.

Teenager who terrorized German train appears in Islamic State video

Amaq News Agency, a propaganda arm of the Islamic State, released a short video featuring a teenager identified as “Muhammad Riyad.” According to Amaq, Riyad was responsible for yesterday’s attack on a train in the German city of Würzburg.

Riyad brandishes a knife throughout the two minute video. He calls on all Muslims to pledge allegiance to Abu Bakr al Baghdadi, saying that the Caliphate has now been resurrected in Iraq, Syria and elsewhere. The teenager adds that the Muslims can join one of the Islamic State’s so-called provinces around the world, including in Libya.

Earlier this morning, Amaq also released a written statement saying the assault was the work of an Islamic State “soldier.” Citing an “inside source,” Amaq reported: “Individual who carried out the axe attack in Germany was a soldier of the Islamic State who executed the operation in response to calls to target nations in the coalition fighting the Islamic State.”

 

Nearly identical language was used in Amaq’s claim of responsibility for the July 14 massacre in Nice, France. In addition, the Islamic State’s media arm often refers to the jihadists who strike in the group’s name as “soldiers.” [see LWJ report, Islamic State claims its ‘soldier’ carried out Bastille Day attack in Nice, France.]

 

The video released by Amaq was obviously recorded before the train’s passengers were slashed. Riyad speaks directly into his own digital camera. The fact that Amaq was able to release the video within one day of the incident suggests that Riyad was in touch with the Islamic State’s media operatives, or knew someone in the Islamic State’s network who could send it to Amaq.

French woman and her three daughters' stabbed by Moroccan man in Alpine resort

A French woman and her three young daughters were seriously wounded in a frenzied knife attack at an Alpine resort on Tues by a man who reportedly complained that they were scantily dressed.

The man was arrested after the attack at the Alpine resort of Garde-Colombe, near Laragne, in southern France.

The youngest girl, aged 8, was rushed to hospital in Grenoble with a punctured lung, according to initial reports.

Her mother, 46, and sisters aged 12 and 14, are being treated at the hospital of Gap, closer to the scene of the attack. Their injuries are serious but not life-threatening, hospital sources said.

The murder of a priest and the wounding of one of his parishioners in Normandy was an act of terrorism carried out by two followers of Islamic State, the French president, François Hollande, has said.

The men, armed with knives, entered the church at Saint-Étienne-du-Rouvray, near Rouen, at 9.43am local time during morning prayers and took five hostages. Father Jacques Hamel, 84, who was held captive along with two nuns and two parishioners, had his throat slit, investigative sources said, while the other victim was described as being seriously injured and between “life and death”.

The two hostage-takers were shot dead by police as they came out of the church.

Hollande described the incident as “an ignoble terrorist attack” by two supporters of Isis. The group, which claimed responsibility for the attack via its affiliated Amaq news agency, “has declared war on us”, Hollande said, adding that it was a war France would have to fight by remaining united.

Inhabitants of Saint-Etienne-du-Rouvray have brought flowers and candles to an improvised memorial at the town hall, to show their grief and solidarity after an elderly priest had his throat slit by Islamic extremists during Mass.

Hassan Tarchich, a former town resident of Moroccan descent, came back to Saint-Etienne Tuesday night after work to bring flowers and a candle to the house of the priest nearby.

"You don't kill in the name of God," he said, describing his shock at the attack.

France's anti-terrorism prosecutor says one of the men who attacked a Normandy church evaded police twice using relatives' ID cards in attempts to reach Syria.

Paris Prosecutor Francois Molins told reporters that 19-year-old Adel Kermiche was wearing an electronic surveillance bracelet when he and another attacker slit the throat of a priest in the town of Saint-Etienne-du-Rouvray Tuesday. Kermiche and the other assailant were killed by police.

 

Molins said the bracelet was deactivated for a few hours every morning, corresponding with the time of the attack.

 

He said Kermiche was arrested in Germany in March 2015 trying to join extremists in Syria using his brother's ID, and then was arrested in Turkey two months later using a cousin's ID.

One of the extremists who attacked a Normandy church has been identified as Adel Kermiche, a local youth whose parents flagged his radical behavior to authorities.

A police official and people who know Kermiche's family provided the name to The Associated Press.

 

Family friend Jonathan Sacarabany says Kermiche grew up in a housing project in Saint-Etienne-du-Rouvray. That is the town where two assailants claiming allegiance to the Islamic State group slit the throat of a priest and took hostages Tuesday before being shot to death by police.

 

The family friend says Kermiche had a sister who is a doctor in the nearby city of Rouen, and a brother. Their mother is a professor. The family alerted authorities to his radicalism to try to stop him from going to Syria, Sacarabany said.

Civilization now requires us to be civilized...and that means assuming that everyone will act in a civilized manner, because if they do not, there is anarchy. This is the ISIS niche. They excel at outrage. In another time, they would all be dead & their bodies burned in a pit. Instead, society willfully looks elsewhere, as the end result of our communal lethargy is removed to a sterile morgue, or the trash heap. We lack the basic part of our being that motivates for survival. We have the capability, but it's uncivilized to release the "lizard brain" and remove the cancer. We are now best suited to mourn & fling platitudes along with our eulogies. Today we live in the most dangerous of times...not in a safe society...or in a fully chaotic society (where you must be alert & prepared at all times)...but in a society where intermittent violence & outrage occurs like a bad lottery. This desensitizes humanity even more. Where is the cosmic slap upside the head & the "Wake the f%@# up!" we need to survive? Will it take the killing of thousands, hundreds of thousands or millions...or never? At some point, do we surrender and get on our knees...and allow those who have less compunction for killing...to create their version of humanity? I can't do that, but after a life of viewing outrage...maybe our children or grandchildren will. It's not as bad as Eurostan now, but a few million "specially imported terrorists" posing as refugees, will make it so. Not everywhere, but we'll never know where. So, for the next 20 some years I have left, I'll watch my '6', carry my weapon everywhere...including church...and hope I never have to scrape someone I know off the sidewalk...

This is the kind of headline you couldn’t make up: “Gang of Muslims storm nudist pool in Germany yelling ‘Allahu Akbar’ and threatening to ‘exterminate’ women for being ‘sluts.'”

 

Nudists were told they would be ‘exterminated’ by a gang of Muslims who stormed into a German swimming pool yelling ‘Allahu Akbar’.

 

The six men, described as being in their 20s and with beards, spat at women and children because they were swimming in the nude and called all the females ‘sluts’.

The revelers were at a pool in the town of Geldern in the North Rhine-Westphalia region, known for its preference for natural form of swimming.

 

…[A]ccording to other witnesses the men referred to the bathers as ‘infidels.’

 

Interestingly, this group of Muslims apparently were not new arrivals:

Terrorists in Normandy swore allegiance to Baghdadi before attacking church

The Islamic State’s Amaq News Agency has released a video purportedly featuring the two terrorists responsible for attacking a church in Normandy, France yesterday. The assailants killed an elderly priest during a morning mass in Saint-Etienne-du-Rouvray, took several people hostage, and were then gunned down by police.

A screen shot of the jihadists shown in Amaq’s video can be seen above. One of the two, identified as “Abu Jalil al Hanafi,” bows his head as he swears bay’ah (an oath of allegiance) to Abu Bakr al Baghdadi. Abu Jalil uses the honorific “Emir ul-Mu’minin,” or “Emir of the Faithful,” for Baghdadi. This title is usually reserved for the caliph.

Abu Jalil’s pledge of fealty, which he delivers on behalf of himself and his comrade, “Abu Omar,” contains the standard formulation used by Islamic State followers around the globe. He promises to obey Baghdadi in almost all circumstances.

Amaq has now released three similar videos in the span of ten days.

Belgian priest stabbed in his home after refusing to give cash to 'asylum seeker'

A priest was reportedly stabbed in his own home when he refused to give money to a man claiming to be an asylum seeker who had asked to use his shower. Father Jos Vanderlee, a 65-year-old priest in the northeast Belgian town of Lanaken, was rushed to hospital with hand and tendon injuries. He is expected to make a full recovery. According to local newspaper Het Nieuwsblad, a man who said he was an asylum seeker knocked on the vicar's door on Sunday and asked if he could use the shower.

 

Father Vanderlee agreed and let the man inside - but after showering he is said to have demanded the priest hand over some cash. When Father Vanderlee refused, the man allegedly stabbed him before fleeing the scene.

 

Belgian authorities said they are investigating but denied the incident had links to terrorism.

On July 28th, at 1:00 a.m. local time. a group of Muslim migrant teens attacked a bus on Danielle-Casanova Street, in the Saint-Denis district of Paris.

The young men stopped the bus, threatened the driver, smashed the windows, and then threw a molotov cocktail at the bus, screaming "Allahu Akhbar"!

The passengers escaped.

This is why I keep several simple storage bags with 2-3 hand wipes, a bottle of water & a power bar in my cars.

 

So I don't get stabbed. So that if I meet a homeless person...I can alleviate a little of their misery for a few minutes. Sometimes I'll throw in an apple.

 

When my sons were playing soccer...we were in a tournament in Manitou Springs, Colorado & during one of the brief periods between games, we went back to our motel to freshen up. As we reached the exit for our turn on the street leading to our motel...we were stuck on an exit ramp & saw a beggar with a sign. We had purchased several pounds of apples for our turn to provide half-time treats...so I rolled the window down & tossed the guy one of the cold apples from our stash. He caught it & sent it careening back off my door, saying, "f%@# you! If I want a damn apple I'll go get one!"

 

I was able to pop the dent out with a suction device.

 

The charitable priest forgot that with some people. "No Good Deed Goes Unpunished."

A SOMALI teenager has been arrested on suspicion of murder after a woman was stabbed to death and five people injured in an attack in central London.

The 19-year-old Norwegian, of Somali origin, was Tasered by police outside the Imperial Hotel, in Southampton Row. He was initially in hospital under armed guard but was this morning moved to a police station and arrested on suspicion of murder, police confirmed. Norway's foreign ministry said the teen emigrated from the Scandanavian country to Britain in 2002 when he was five years old.

The American woman, in her 60s, was treated at the scene but she died a short time later. Five people - two women and three men - were taken to hospital for their injuries. None of their injuries are life-threatening, police said.

They are British, Israeli and Australian citizens.
