A Fox 21 reporter tweeted that police were trying to get to their third safely. It was unclear how big he area was where police said the the shooter was contained.

All safe and accounted for in our neck of the woods. Actually, it turns out he is not contained yet. They're not even sure his target was PP. Another nut case on the loose.

Latest is saying he tried to rob the Chase bank next to PP and then fled into PP from there.

@Valin @nickydog @clearvision Mr. G has a police radio App on his phone that he gets police calls from all over the country. He is listening to the inter action of the police live. Heard them rescuing hostages hiding in the bathroom. They know where he is. They are clearing room by room to make sure there is no one else there before they shoot him.

There is a woman in an adjacent room that they are trying to get out before they start shooting. There must be some cameras in the facility because they can see him when he moves around in certain areas.

Gunman named in Colorado Springs Planned Parenthood attack

The gunman behind the standoff at a Colorado Springs Planned Parenthood in which three people died and nine were injured has been named as Robert Lewis Dear, a 57-year-old man from North Carolina.

Officials speaking off the record gave the suspect’s identity to news outlets late on Friday. No other detail was immediately available, including a motive for the attack.

“We don’t have any information on this individual’s mentality, or his ideas or ideology,” Colorado Springs police lieutenant Catherine Buckley told reporters.

What we know about Robert Lewis Dear, alleged gunman identified in deadly Colorado Planned Parenthood attack
Caitlin Dickson
November 28, 2015

Authorities have released few details about Robert Lewis Dear, the man identified as the alleged sole shooter in an attack on a Colorado Springs Planned Parenthood clinic that left three dead and nine others wounded Friday. But while investigators continue to search for clues to his motive, reporters have started digging into Dear’s past.

According to the Associated Press, 57-year-old Dear split his time between a house in Swannanoa, N.C., and a remote cabin without electricity or running water in Black Mountain, about 15 miles outside Asheville, N.C.

Neighbor James Russell told the AP that Dear typically kept to himself and that on the occasions when they did speak, Dear avoided eye contact and rambled about a variety of unrelated topics. However, Russell said, he’d never heard Dear talk about religion or abortion.

The AP also reported that on Saturday, Dear’s cabin was adorned with a cross made of twigs.

Planned Parenthood Shooting Suspect Made Comment About 'No More Baby Parts': Sources
Pete Williams, Andrew Blankstein and The Associated Press
Nov. 28 2015

The day after a gunman killed three people and shot nine others at a Colorado Planned Parenthood office, officials tell NBC News a motive remains unclear, but say the suspect talked about politics and abortion.

Robert Lewis Dear, a North Carolina native who was living in a trailer in Colorado, made statements to police Friday at the scene of the Colorado Springs clinic and in interviews that law enforcement sources described as rantings.

In one statement, made after the suspect was taken in for questioning, Dear said "no more baby parts" in reference to Planned Parenthood, according to two law enforcement sources with knowledge of the case.

But the sources stressed that Dear said many things to law enforcement and the extent to which the "baby parts" remark played into any decision to target the Planned Parenthood office was not yet clear. He also mentioned President Barack Obama in statements.
