Draggingtree
The Federalist: 3 Ways Obama’s New Ebola Czar Is Like His Old Ebola CzarOCTOBER 20, 2014 By Mollie Hemingway On October 17, President Obama named Democratic political operative Ron Klain to be the Ebola Response Coordinator. Included among those current officials must be the other Ebola Czar, Dr. Nicole Lurie. (See: “President Obama Already Has An Ebola Czar. Where Is She?“) The second Ebola Czar will: "... report directly to the president’s homeland security adviser, Lisa Monaco, and the president’s national security adviser, Susan Rice, as he ensures that efforts to protect the American people by detecting, isolating and treating Ebola patients in this country are properly integrated but don’t distract from the aggressive commitment to stopping Ebola at the source in West Africa,” a White House official wrote in an e-mail. Cyber_Liberty
One big difference: The new Czar will have more bosses, so I'm sure he will work out much better. /s

Draggingtree
Obama’s Big Ebola Wager The main job of Ebola "tsar" Ron Klain should be to save the White House from its own political tone-deafness. By SCOTT MCCONNELL • October 23, 2014 Obama might have been able to find a prominent public health expert with gravitas and television skills to tap as the administration’s new Ebola tsar. He was probably wise to choose a political operative instead. For a political operative is more likely to convey to the White House that Ebola is not only a potentially very serious health problem, but a watershed for his administration—one with the potential to end the Obama presidency. Should we assume that the chances of another Thomas Eric Duncan, the Liberian whose arrival here resulted in the infection of two nurses, are fairly small? Perhaps such a traveler would be screened under the new procedures and quarantined after arrival at an American airport, but why would he have been? Duncan’s temperature was supposedly normal http://www.theamericanconservative.com/articles/obamas-big-ebola-wager/
