A patient in Dallas, Texas has been confirmed by the U.S. Center for Disease Control as the first case of Ebola diagnosed on American soil, reports CNBC.

Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital had confirmed earlier this week that they had isolated a patient in Dallas who had symptoms and travel history that suggested they could have been exposed to the Ebola virus in a statement, according to local Fox affiliate KDFW. They did not specify the gender of the patient or the specifics of that travel history, but confirmed that federal officials from the CDC were called in, and that results of testing would be expected around 3 PM Central Time on Tuesday.

CNBC confirms that the CDC has found the patient to test positive for the Ebola virus. This is the first case of the virus that has been diagnosed on U.S. soil, though American citizens who were diagnosed with the virus in west Africa have returned for medical attention to the continental United States and recovered.

ABC affiliate WFAA adds that the hospital has announced that the patient is being held in "strict isolation" and that officials believe there is little potential for an outbreak, given the advanced technology available on U.S. soil and the medical infrastructure already in place in a city like Dallas.

The current outbreak of Ebola virus in Dallas has people all over the United States panicked about the possibility of Ebola coming to their hometown.

Apparently, the person who contracted Ebola did so while in Liberia, then traveled to the United States without symptoms. According to Centers for Disease Control Director Thomas Frieden, four or five days afterward, the patient became symptomatic and went to Presbyterian Hospital in Dallas. The Ebola patient is “critically ill at this point,” Friedan told CBS. Most troubling, the patient went to the emergency room on Thursday but was sent back home with an antibiotic, then had to call an ambulance on Sunday. In the interim, the symptomatic patient could have passed along the disease.

Here’s what you need to know about Ebola: what it looks like, how it is transmitted, and what the chances are that you will be confronted with it.

Symptoms. According to the CDC, symptoms look a lot like the flu – a particularly troublesome problem given that we are now entering flu season. The CDC lists the following symptoms, which generally appear within 8 to 10 days after exposure to Ebola:

Severe headache;

Muscle pain;

Weakness;

Diarrhea;

Vomiting;

Abdominal pain;

Unexplained hemorrhage (bleeding or bruising).

THOUSANDS FROM EBOLA NATIONS ALLOWED TO ENTER US WITHOUT ADDITIONAL SCREENING

 

DALLAS, Texas — Over 3,500 passengers from Ebola affected nations have been allowed to enter the U.S. without any special screening since January 1, 2014, according to a leaked internal intelligence report from the U.S. Customs and Border Protection Office of Intelligence and Liaison exclusively obtained by Breitbart Texas. In addition, the individuals entered into at least 18 heavily populated U.S. cities across the nation.

The leaked report specifically reads, “According to CBP [Customs and Border Protection] data, since January 1, 2014 to June 30, 2014, a total of 3,566 passengers with a nexus to Guinea transited through or arrived at U.S. airports.” The term “nexus” refers to passengers who flew from the Ebola stricken nation to a second nation, and then from the second nation into the United States. Guinea is attributed as the nation of origin for the current Ebola outbreak.

The lack of any special processes or testing for individuals with a nexus to Ebola affected nations is illumined in the leaked internal report as well. It reads, “The Level 3 travel alert issued by the CDC on July 31st remains in effect as of August 13, 2014. The travel alert urges all US residents to avoid nonessential travel to Guinea. Although CBP is not doing any additional screening of passengers from the affected countries, CBP has enhanced their screening routine processes through guidance and training. Additionally, CDC is providing assistance with exit screening and communication efforts in West Africa to prevent sick travelers from boarding planes.”

In October 2014, the first patient on American soil infected with the Ebola virus sits in isolation in a Texas hospital, prompting calls for travel restrictions between the United States and Ebola-stricken countries.

 

Meanwhile, four years ago, the administration of President Barack Obama moved with virtually no fanfare to abandon a comprehensive set of regulations which the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) had called essential to preventing international travelers from spreading deadly diseases inside the United States.

 

The CDC had proposed the regulations in 2005 under the administration of George W. Bush, reported USA Today in 2010. The original impetus for the regulations was fear that avian flu would spread unchecked.

Cobb Co. Jail inmate being tested for Ebola

The Cobb County Jail is no longer accepting inmates after an inmate developed a fever. The man told jail officials that he recently traveled to Africa.

 

Jail officials confirm to Channel 2's Ross Cavitt that the inmate is being tested for Ebola.

 

The man was arrested overnight for DUI.

My opinion [worth two cents] is that this is a "planned" crisis. It is a step in the direction of one party rule, and even NewWorldOrder objectives. Slow erosion of liberties, rights & our promise of our God given, unalienable right to "....life, liberty and the pursuit of hapiness..."

 

Divide and Conquer

 

There was speculation that the confrontation with the Nevada rancher [Cliven Bundy] was an attempt to use Obama's private government army to instigate crisis....and resolve it with overwhelming response. The result would be good Obama optics with his base...and an opportunity to smear any patriot movements that sided with Bundy.

 

It failed because public opinion didn't exactly line up with his objective of increasing, consolidating & prohibiting trespass on Federally owned land. It worked as a distraction and an opportunity to denigrate, smear & disenfranchise American citizens & their private property rights. It worked to establish the Fed over the State. It was a test [however successful] for using a weaponized government entity [Park Service] as a military force....to enforce an administration dictate over a regulation.

 

Next we have tens of thousands of Central American children + an equal or greater number of "guardians" allowed into the US [some even flown here by plane].....and then jammed into relocation centers for months...where any communicable diseases could be multiplied....before sending them all over the 57 states....where they are allowed to enter school systems without vaccination, or screening. We have in one community near Boston alone.....800 native citizens screened for drug-resistant TB. We have an entero-virus D68 infecting children in 8 to 10 states. A virus that in Colorado has caused paralysis. The children & their [sometimes Mex-Cartel] guardians have pretty much....disappeared.

 

Now, we have a 1st world country [America] that refuses to institute common sense airplane flight precautions from a 3rd world country that is in a epidemic of Ebola....a disease that has a 50 to 90% kill rate.

 

Why?

 

A outbreak of Ebola in the US would trigger the new Presidential Emergency Act....and he could control all food & water supplies....plus he could declare Martial Law & delay or cancel any elective process....until he determined that the "crisis" had passed. Plus....think of the opportunity to get rid of unnecessary citizens, that would present itself. On Friday, March 16, Obama issued another unconstitutional executive order. The National Defense Resources Preparedness EO allows the government to confiscate your property without due process under the direction of Janet Napolitano and the Department of Homeland Security.

 

Obama’s EO allows the president to “take actions necessary to ensure the availability of adequate resources and production capability, including services and critical technology, for national defense requirements” in the event of a “potential threat to the security of the United States.”

 

Obama’s latest EO demonstrates once again that the executive will continue to violate the Constitution, in particular Article I, Section 1, which states: “All legislative Powers herein granted shall be vested in a Congress of the United States, which shall consist of a Senate and House of Representatives.”

bama’s latest EO underscores and reemphasizes Bill Clinton’s EO 12919, signed on June 6, 1994.

Clinton’s 12919 followed a number of earlier executive orders allowing the government to steal your property – and also force you to be a slave laborer – during a vaguely declared “national emergency.” The government has given itself the authority to seize all communication (from television stations to CB radios), confiscate all food resources (including farms and farm equipment), take control of all transportation (including your family car), and compel you at gunpoint “under federal supervision” to work as a slave.

 

National Defense Resources Preparedness is a textbook example of fascism. It allows the government to steal privately owned property and publicly owned infrastructure and hand it over to its preferred corporate partners under the guise of a national emergency: “( provide for the modification or expansion of privately owned facilities, including the modification or improvement of production processes, when taking actions under sections 301, 302, or 303 of the Act, 50 U.S.C. App. 2091, 2092, 2093; and © sell or otherwise transfer equipment owned by the Federal Government and installed under section 303(e) of the Act, 50 U.S.C. App. 2093(e), to the owners of such plants, factories, or other industrial facilities.”

 

Fascist philosopher and Italian dictator Benito Mussolini used his principle of a “nation in arms” to steal private property from citizens. Obama’s latest EO declares the right to do the same. Mussolini devised fascist corporatism – the philosophy of the “corporative state” – and Obama under the direction of his Goldman Sachs and transnational corporate and bankster controllers has updated this corporate-statist doctrine, including the ability to steal privately earned and held wealth under the pretense of a national emergency.

 

Martial Law

 

Previous administrations installed the groundwork for Obama’s authoritarian move. Under Reagan, executive agencies were granted sweeping emergency powers to not only grab infrastructure and private property, but also round up citizens and put them in concentration camps and force them into slave labor brigades.

 

During the Iran-Contra hearings in 1987, it was revealed that the program was a secretive “scenario and drill” developed by the federal government to suspend the Constitution, declare martial law, assign military commanders to take over state and local governments, and detain large numbers of American citizens determined by the government to be “national security threats.”

 

Obama’s NDAA was established to provide the legal mechanism for tasking the military to round up activists and others targeted by the government. Prior to the NDAA, the Patriot Act, the Military Commissions Act and other related programs, the government devised Rex 84 and in particular Operation Garden Plot, an operational plan to use the Army, USAF, Navy, and Marine Corp. in direct support of civil disturbance control operations. It has since added numerous elements under the rubric of Continuity of Government, the overall war on terror, civil disturbance and emergency response.

With the scantily covered National Emergency Centers Establishment Act, the Military Commissions Act, and the recent NDAA sailing through Congress, and a raft of lesser legislation and unconstitutional directives, we are beginning to see the contours of the police state.

A Google News search produces virtually no mention of Obama’s latest assault on the Constitution from the establishment media. The alternative media began covering the latest Obama executive order from the moment it was posted on the White House website on Friday, but the corporate media remains silent.

 

Obama’s EO should be headline news.

 

It is a direct assault on the Constitution and further empowers an executive branch dictatorship and allows it to exploit a “full spectrum of emergencies” and permits it to confiscate private property and turn citizens into slaves.

 

As John Adams noted, the very basis of the Constitution rests on the concept of private property. “The moment the idea is admitted into society that property is not as sacred as the laws of God,” Adams wrote, “anarchy and tyranny commence. Property must be secured or liberty cannot exist.”
