Pasta with bacon, peas and cream recipe

 

A quick and delicious creamy pasta recipe for the whole family

SERVES

INGREDIENTS
225g (8oz) trofie or other pasta
15g (½oz) unsalted butter
1 small onion, finely chopped
75g (2¾oz) unsmoked bacon lardons
3 garlic cloves, finely chopped
175g (6oz) frozen peas
225ml (8fl oz) double cream
finely grated zest ½ lemon
1 tbsp finely chopped flat-leaf parsley
freshly grated parmesan, to serve

METHOD
Boil the pasta in plenty of water until al dente. Scissors-32x32.png
