On October 20, 2009, the Hauenstein Center for Presidential Studies hosted Herb Meyer, the former special assistant to the director of central intelligence during the Reagan administration. Mr. Meyer gave a lecture titled "What in the World is Going On?" where he briefed the audience in recent demographic, economic, and political trends that will affect how America conducts foreign policy in the 21st century.
